Laikas SAU/ Time for YOURSELF

Skrebuko nuotraukos darytos jau senokai (kai dar nesidojau Picasa :) ), Nidos kopose, kai pajūriu nuėjom nemažą kilometrų distanciją, iš Preilos  Klaipėdos kryptimi, kad pasiekti tas kopas, kurių viršuje vaikščioti draudžiama (nepamenu kopų pavadinimo). Paskutiniai penki šimtai metrų buvo labai sunkūs ir jau ne kartą norėjau sukti atgal, bet mano pakeleivis visaip mane drąsino ir ragino, jog dar truputį....Kai pasiekėm tikslą, radom nuostabias kopas ir ... nerealų laukinių žemuogių lauką... Nuotraukoje matote suvertas ant smilgų žemuoges, kad kelionė atgal neprailgtų. Man tas kelių valandų į vieną pusę prasiėjimas buvo gera pamoka, kad jei gyvenime laikysies užsibrėžto tikslo, nesustosi pusiaukelėje - pasieksi/gausi tai, ko net nesitikėjai....gerąja prasme...

The photos reveal one meaningful episode in my life, some kind of a lesson or a moral. We went on a long trekking route towards some sand dunes, along the coast of the Baltic Sea in order to reach a particular sand dune from the "water side", because  walking on the top of it is prohibited. On the way there were a few moments when I wanted to give it up, to go back, because I got tired. However, my companion encouraged me to keep going. Fortunately, I did... And when we reached the destination, not only we found isolated and fabulous sand dunes, but also a lot of sweet red wild strawberries. You can see the berries in my hands. What I learned from this "expedition"? Not to give up or refuse something in the  middle of the process, for if you proceed, you'll be reallly granted with something unexpected ...in a good sense...

Thus, next/this year I hope to find time for reconsidering my goals, for doing something meaningful...

2005 Mokytoja/Teacher of 2005

Skrebukas dviems konkursams/ This LO is taking part in two challenges:

Rima pasidalino nuoroda į man nematytą skrebinimo schemų puslapiuką "CSI: color, stories, inspiration" Spėjau dar į patį pirmąjį konkursą, nes buvau pradėjusi dėlioti reikiamų spalvų popieriukus kokiam nors galimam skrebukui. Tad pasispaudžiau ir likus 6 h iki konkurso pabaigos talpinu skrebuką, kuriame įamžinta dar vienos mokslo įstaigos baigimo akimirka. Būtina panaudoti penkias duotas spalvas, du dalykus iš "evidence" ir vieną iš "testimony. Schema ir reikalavimai apačioje.

"CSI: color, stories, inspiration"  is an inspiring challenge with so many "requirements" at a time, which really drew my attention. I've used all the five colours, numbers and background stamping (two minimum requirements from evidence) and journalling on a self-made tag which is in the shape of graduation cap. The title means "the teacher of 2005", the photo was taken on my BA graduation day.

"ArtUgolok" offered an interesting  sketch, i was tempted to try it out.

Slidinėjimo džiaugsmas /Joy of skiing

This LO is for a great challenge where you have to use  3 things - the colour SILVER, the word JOY and SPLATS.

I felt the joy of skiing over the frozen lake surrounded by forests. I added silver snowflakes around all the photo, the smallest of them (which are the nearest to the word JOY) can be barely visible because of the photo quality.

Ad blue mist spats all over the layout -  to match the blue sunny winter sky. Alas, this year winter is completely different. More typical of UK winters.

There is some journalling in the form of frames around the LO.

Skrebukas skirtas konkursui, kurio užduotis -panaudoti PILKĄ spalvą, žodį JOY (džiaugsmas) ir visokius pataškymus-papurškimus....Tekstą pateikiau rėmelių formatu...Čia jau tai vadinamas LIFTING'as įvyko. Ar žinot nuo ko? :)

Labai lengvai, greitai ir smagiai paskrebinau šį kartą...

Naujieji/New Year

Skrebukas naujametinės tematikos konkursui. Rinkausi mažesnį lapo formatą, dėliojau popieriukus, lanksčiau vėduoklę, sukau  auksinės folijos nuo šokolado rutuliukus, klijavau kartoninius padukus, kad nuotrauka ir laikrodis labiau pakiltų ir išsiskirtų.  Žodžiu, laiko užėmė, bet buvo smagu.

OUAS challenge about New Year. This time my journalling is in my native language and it's about the person and the place I've celebrated NY Eve with/at. I've placed the note on the other side of the Christmas tree toy, so it's hidden at the first glance.

Elements I've used: a golden paper fan, a paper Christmas toy with journalling on the back side, some round golden "figures" made form candy paper, a clock sticked to a cardstock and tapped with golden ink. 

Thus, golden dominates here :)

And... as far as there is a star on the black Christmas tree "toy", I'd be honoured to take part in ScrapFit challenge.

Viena stebuklinga diena/One special day

Dar kelios ypatingos nuotraukos, kurios laukė savo eilės skrebukui. Scrapping komanda paskelbė smagų konkursą, tad skubu dalyvauti. Nuotraukose pilvinukui sukako 6 mėnesiai, taliją pamečiau kažkur, bet visai nebuvo gaila. O ta diena, tas ankstyvas birželio rytas, kai sužinojom naujieną apie pilvinuką, buvo stebuklinga(s). Miegoti nebesinorėjo, tad su arbata ir naminiu pyragu lėkėm pasitikti saulės :)....

Raidės panaudotos iš "Times and Seasons" rinkinuko, labai juo esu patenkinta. Raidės ir nuotraukos klijuotos ant kartoninio pagrindo.Mėlyna spalva visai ne mėlyna, o violetinė. Labiau violetinė nei nuotraukoje :). Na ir žinoma, skylamušiai, kirsta drugelio forma, deimančiukai ir t.t.

This LO is also for Creative Scrappers sketch #191. Journalling is hidden, however, it's about one special day for me a a mother-to-be.
